Earthquake hits Indonesia, no Tsunami alert
West Java province of Indonesia shook today when an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the richter scale hit the region earlier in the morning.

Amidst this, people took a sigh of relief as no Tsunami alert was issued, said the meteorology and geophysics agency.

As per several reports, the epicenter was at 120 kilometers northeast Subang and was as deep as 654 kilometers under sea bed.

Indonesia is prone to quake as it sits on a vulnerable quake hit-zone called "the Pacific Ring of Fire".
