Not less than six people were dead and more than 150 injured after Karachi-bound Awam Express collided with a freight train near Multan early on Thursday.

 
Incident took place near Bucch railway station in Sher Shah area that overturned four bogies of the Awam Express.
 
The accident wrecked power van and engine, and overturned four bogies of Awam Express.
 
A delay was initially observed in response by rescue services because of Eid holidays, according to reports. 
 
Passenger train was on route to Karachi from Peshawar.
