Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is ahead of her Republican rival Donald Trump nationally by 5 percentage points among likely voters, the Washington Post/ABC poll has said.
As per the poll released on Sunday, Clinton was leading Trump 46 percent to 41 percent, Politico reported.
Her lead was slightly greater, 45 percent to Trump's 35 percent, among registered voters.
Poll found that voters were getting more decisive about their choices, with 79 percent of Clinton supporters stressing they would "definitely" vote for her and 81 per cent of Trump supporters saying the same for him.
ABC and The Post conducted the poll from September 5-8, using cellular and landline phones to reach a random national sample of 1,002 adults, Politico said.
In the meantime, NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll said Clinton and Trump are deadlocked in four battleground states -- Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and New Hampshire.
