External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj wilL visit Israel on 17 January, accompanied by Secretary (East) and other officials from MEA.
In what is going to be the maiden visit of External Affairs Minister to Israel,the minister will hold discussions with the Israeli leadership and review entire gamut of India Israel bilateral relations.
The ministry in its press relaese has said, "Two sides share firm belief in the values of democracy and free market economy."
"India and Israel also share close relation in the fields of agriculture, science & technology and education."Ministry of External Affairs added in its press relaese.
"EAM will also interact with the Indian community in Israel during her visit. The visit will augment India’s bilateral relations with Israel and further strengthen the linkages between the two sides."MEA said.
President Pranab Mukherjee had visted Israel in October 2015 and was the first president to visit Israel.
