PM Narendra Modi Arrives In Kabul To Inaugurate Parliament Building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lands in Kabul post his Moscow visit where he would inaugurate the parliament building.

Moreover, the prime minister is also believed to discuss security issues and bilateral trade with president of Afghanistan Ashraf Gilani.

Modi’s visit to Kabul is his maiden visit ever since he assumed prime minister’s office in May last year. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had visited the country in 2011.

Prime Minister Modi was received by deputy Foreign minister Hekmat Karzai and Afghan National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
