People migrate to big cities in search of better living standards but what about happiness. Are people of big Indian cities happy and if they are happy, how much happy they are?

To find the answer, a pan-India survey of eating habits, activity levels and happiness etc was conducted that focused on Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bengaluru and Kolkata.

In the survey, Delhi was found to be second least happy city whereas Mumbai scored the highest despite 38% of Mumbai residents scored low on the lifestyle chart.

The city scored a measly 31 on the active score and 51 on the ‘eat better’ score. Chandigarh on contrary, scored to be most active city, however, it also scored to be the least happy city.

Delhi shared third position with Kolkata, scoring 67.  Bengaluru came out to be the second happiest city.
