Dalai Lama rejoices Mother Teresa’s canonization
The canonization of Mother Teresa has been rejoiced by Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama who praised her by saying that he admires her for her services to the poor. 
 
 
He expressed his joy by saying that he is happy with this recognition of Mother Teresa’s service to humanity, particularly the way she cared for the poorest of the poor. He added to this appraisal by saying that he joins everybody in celebrating her extraordinary life. 
 
 
Dalai Lama who himself is a Nobel Peace Laureate and has been living in India since 1959, said that she revealed the true practice of love in her charitable activities. 
 
 
Mother Teresa was officially declared Saint Teresa by Pope Francis at a ceremony at Vatican City on September 4.
