Small businesses are estimated to contribute to 40 % of India's GDP besides 75 % of jobs in the country

Microsoft tie-ups with TANSTIA to accelerate SMB growth

To give impetus to the small business sector, Microsoft and Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) have come together to offer a range of business devices powered by Windows 10 at price ranging starting from Rs 15,000. 

 

Microsoft, along with OEM partners Acer, Datamini, Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Smartron among others - is bringing a range of laptops, desktops and hybrid (2-in-1) devices for TANSTIA's members and non-members to address three crucial business needs of SMBS - productivity, security, and cost effectiveness.

In today's mobile-first, cloud-first world, Microsoft's endeavor is to empower its customers to thrive. Microsoft is focused on creating a portfolio of Windows 10 powered devices that are modern and come in innovative form factors, while being relevant and affordable for Indian SMBs", said Manohar Hotchandani, director, business development, Microsoft.

TANSTIA has membership from 140 associations consisting District SME association, Industrial Estate association, product wise associations and represent nearly 5.80 lakhs MSMEs all over the state of Tamil Nadu.

 

Microsoft is also bringing cloud powered solutions, developed by its ISV partners including Microsoft Office 365, Smarter SMB, a CRM application and IDOS, an accounting software. Quadrasystems.net India Private Limited (Quadra), a Microsoft Gold Competency partner will lead the deployment of these solutions in the state.
