BJP on Monday made public Bachelor of Arts and post-graduate degrees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It also sought apology from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for accusing the prime minister of lying about his educational qualifications.
Party president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley held aloft the Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and Masters of Arts in Political Science degree from Gujarat University at a press conference here.
"Before making such baseless allegations about someone's personal life, one should have verified the facts. I am very ashamed today thinking that such a day would come that I'll have to make public the degrees of the PM," said Shah.
"He (Kejriwal) should apologise to the country," Shah said.
Kejriwal had accused the prime minister of lying about his Delhi University bachelor's degree.
Meanwhile, AAP leader Ashutosh has said that degrees shown by BJP chief are forged.
"Amit Shah is not God. He can't just show some degree in a press conference and claim that it's real," Ashutosh was quoted tp have said in a media report.
