International Cricket Council (ICC) has slapped a fine on Bangladesh for a slow over-rate against hosts  India in their last World Twenty Group 2 fixture.

It imposed the fine after Bangladesh were found to be one over short of the target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

According to rules, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza  was fined 20 percent of his match fee while the other players received 10 percent fines, a report by bdnews24.com has said.

Bangladesh is out of tournament after losing the match by just one run.
