OPPO, for the first time has become the number two brand in India in terms of sales value after overtaking Apple but is still behind Samsung.
According to a study undertaken by GFK, a German company, OPPO also clocked in a growth of 16 per cent in comparison to the previous month.
As per reports, OPPO has said that India is a priority market for them and they have caught the trend that users like taking photos and selfies by phones. Therefore, they will continue investing in photography technology, design and offering the best consumer experience.
Interestingly, sales increased after it launched "selfie expert" OPPO F1s in August in India. The phone comes with 16MP front camera and "Beautify" function, fingerprint unlock and good battery endurance.
