Now compose longer tweets on Twitter
Most popular micro blogging website Twitter is planning to change the way of counting characters from September 19.

As per reports, Twitter will stop counting attachments, including images, GIFs, videos, polls, and usernames, against the 140-character limit which would allow users to compose longer tweets, though the limit will be 140 characters only.

According to several reports, Twitter first announced plans to stop counting extras like photos, videos, and user polls toward the limit back in May.

However, the extra scope for text give users more flexibility in composing their messages, it is still unclear as to whether all of these changes will occur simultaneously or in stages.
