Twitter launches app for Alexa

Social media site Twitter has come out with an app for Amazon's voice platform Alexa so that she can just read your tweets on your Echo speaker.

The app can give you normal information on trends or deliver information from your own account, Twitter said.

To get started, just validate with your Twitter account and say "Alexa, open Twitter" to launch the app, Tech Crunch reported.

Virtual assistant not only can read tweets on Timeline but also a user's Mentions, Retweets, and Likes.

Also, the app can make available more information from Twitter's service, like the current trends.
