Forbes, leading ranking magazine has released list of 100 richest technology tycoons. Amongst others, only two technology tycoons of India marked their places on the list. These two billionaires are Wipro’s chairman Azim Premji and HCL co-founder Shiv Nadar.
Azim Premji has gained 13th place of riches on the list with net worth of US$ 16 billion while Nadar comes out to be 17th on the list, with net worth of US$ 11.6 billion.
Apart from them, two Indo-American technology giants Symphony Technology Group’s CEO Romesh Wadhwani, who marks 67th position with US$ 3 billion and Syntel’s Bharat Desai and his wife Neerja Sethi are also there on the list.
Interestingly, China possesses second highest number of tech tycoons with 19 people worth US$ 132.7 billion, having their names on the list while Canada have five and Germany has four.
The richest Chinese tech tycoon happens to be Alibaba founder Jack Ma who comes on 8th spot on the list with net worth of US$ 25.8 billion.
The list has been topped by Microsoft founder Bill Gates with net worth of US$ 78 billion.
