BenQ unveils eye care monitor in India

Well known Taipei-based technology company BenQ has launched a new eye care monitor in India.

It is equipped with Low Blue Light Plus and Brightness Intelligence technology that helps users to enjoy high quality audio-visual content without hurting their eyes.

Brightness Intelligence Technology identifies the amount of ambient light in the viewing environment and mechanically adjusts the brightness for the most comfortable viewing experience possible.

"More than ever, we now need technology that protects our eyes and takes overall screen viewing experience to the next level," said Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ, India, in a statement.

The monitor has AMVA+ (Advanced Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment 'Plus’) panel, full-HD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.

It features true 8-bit colour (no dithering) and light matte screen surface with Ultra high 3000:1 native contrast ratio and offers Smart Focus and Cinema Mode.
