A Jodhpur court  on Thursday asked actor Salman Khan to be present on March 10 to record his statement in the Arms Act case, which is an offshoot of the black buck poaching case of 1998.

Previously, Rajasthan High Court allowed the appeal of the actor seeking documents related to the prosecution sanction against him under the Arms Act in a case.

Khan had moved a plea in the High Court seeking consent to make the documents relating to the prosecution sanction by the then district magistrate available to him.

A case had been registered against Khan by the forest department in October , 1998, under the Arms Act suggesting that the arms used by him during alleged poaching of two black bucks at a village on the intervening night of October 1-2, 1998, had their licences expired and therefore he had been using those arms illegitimately.
