A complete shutdown is being observed against the killing of two youth by armed forces in Pulwama on Sunday afternoon.
Both the factions of Hurriyat including other separatists groups have called for a complete shutdown against the killings.
Authorities have also imposed strict restrictions in all six police stations of downtown Srinagar. Meanwhile, the authorities have suspended train services across Kashmir as well.
University of Kashmir has also postponed all the examination scheduled for Monday.
The two youths, including a girl, were killed and several others injured as protesters clashed with police in Pulwama on Sunday. They were protesting against an encounter in Kakapora area of the district in which a militant was killed.
