Jammu and Kashmir government has failed to deal with situation that caused harm to the state and people, said the all-party delegation that visited Kashmir last week.

The delegation gave their conclusion in a meeting held between delegation members and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi Wednesday.

At today's meeting there were 26 lawmakers present from 20 parties who made up the all-party delegation that visited Jammu and Kashmir earlier this week.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also attended the meeting held in Delhi. The delegation said that misleading statements were given by state leaders.

Demanding a relief package for those killed in the unrest, the delegation said that use of pellet guns should be immediately stopped.
