The government has made it clear it has no intension to engage with separatists in Jammu & Kashmir.

Speaking in Rajya Sanha Home Minister Rajnath Singh said only outstanding issue with Pakistan was the return of Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

He added that the NDA Government is ready to talk to all political parties and moderate elements in the state.

"No power on earth can snatch Kashmir from us," he declared.

Rajnath said the government has agreed to send an all-party delegation to Jammu & Kashmir while an all-party meeting would be held on Friday, which will be attended by the prime minister also.

The Upper House of the Parliament adopted a resolution that said while there cannot be any compromise on national security, urgent steps should be taken to restore order and peace and alleviate sufferings of people.

"The House appeals to all sections of society in J&K to work for the early restoration of normal conditions and harmony and unanimously resolves to restore confidence among people..." the resolution said.
