Curfew continued for the fifth successive day in most parts of the Valley on Wednesday as 34 people died during this period due to violence that has been in Kashmir after the killing of Hizbul commander, Burhan Wani.
Even after comparative calm in the Valley on Tuesday, clashes occurred between the security forces and unruly mobs at more than three dozen places.
Mob attacked a police station in Kupwara district on Tuesday.
It also torched a police vehicle there in which some policemen were trapped.
In Awantipora town of Pulwama district, a mob attacked the unguarded house of a cop severely beating his wife and daughter.
In Ganderbal town, another unruly mob attacked thedistrict magistrate who escaped unhurt.
