Priyanka Gandhi Vadra may address Congress rallies for upcoming Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh
‘The Times of India’ has quoted a source as saying that there is a pressure from party workers that the Gandhi scion canvass in the state and address hundreds of rallies ahead of polls.
The source told the paper that if Priyanka campaigns in the state apart from Amethi and Rae Bareli, there would be "nothing like anyone has seen".
He added that programmewas being finalised at the top level and final details will be sketched out by Congress president.
Poll strategist Prashant Kishor, who was hired to revive Congress’ fortunes, had been pushing for Priyanka Gandhi to be declared as party's CM candidate since Rahul Gandhi had declined.
