Kolkata marks to be the ‘least expensive’ city
There is good news for the people want to migrate to Kolkata as an annual survey conducted by a leading global HR consultancy shows Kolkata to be the cheapest city in terms of expatriates.

The survey also shows Mumbai to be the most expensive city being closely followed by New Delhi and Chennai.

The survey focused on some most renowned cities of the world including Singapore and Hong Kong.

In the survey, Kolkata marks the rank of 194th city to be expensive whereas Mumbai was marked to be 82nd city to be expensive.  New Delhi saw the position of 138th city whereas Chennai was marked to be 158th city to be expensive.

Interestingly, Bengaluru was also marked as one of the cheapest cities gaining position of 180th among the most expensive cities.

Every year the survey focuses on goods and services and housing which together impact the cost of living in any city.

By this survey, it can be concluded that Mumbaikars only know too well how difficult it is to buy or rent a home in the city. However, New Delhi and Bangalore have become more expensive over last year and their rankings have gone up.
