Most of Delhi MLAs are not performing as expected, a report has said.

According to a report card issued by Praja Foundation, a ‘non-partisan organisation, thirty-three percent MLAs hardly participated in deliberations in the Delhi Assembly last year, three MLAs did not raise any issue in the House and 72 percent MLAs were found performing less than expected.
The foundation has been conducting a similar study for Mumbai since 2011. This is the first time a report card was made for Delhi for the performance of legislators in 2015.
AAP MLAs performed poorly not only as compared to their Mumbai counterparts but also against the three Opposition BJP MLAs.
Of 70 MLAs in Delhi, 58 were ranked while the others including the Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers and Speaker were not ranked as they do not ask questions or raise issues.
“… Delhi’s ruling party AAP MLAs raised on an average 12 issues, while Mumbai’s ruling party (BJP and Shiv Sena) MLAs raised 69 issues on an average,” said the study.
