PM Modi meets Singapore counterpart

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday, who arrived in the national capital on Monday.

 
"The warmth of an Asian friendship. PM @narendramodi welcomes PM @leehsienloong of Singapore at Hyderabad House," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted along with pictures. 
 
Earlier in the day, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Lee.
 
"First engagement for an honoured guest from the East. EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on PM @leehsienloong of Singapore in Delhi," Swarup said in a separate tweet. 
 
On Wednesday, Lee will call on President Pranab Mukherjee before leaving for Udaipur.
 
The Singapore Prime Minister is being accompanied by a high-level delegation.
