A bus fell into approximately 25 feet deep pond in Madhubani district on Monday afternoon. Fifty were feared dead, in the fateful accident.

The bus was on its way to Sitamarhi from Madhubani, 180 kms northeast of Patna.

So far, bodies of 30 passengers were fished out according to Madhubani district administration sources. Few people reported that there were 50 to 55 passengers on-board the bus.
