Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent another warning to the people "instigating the youth in Kashmir" saying they have to answer to them as well. Modi address nation on Sunday, during Mann ki Baat program.
Underscoring the need for unity at such times on his monthly radio programme, PM Modi said "All parties are united on Kashmir issue. Our unity sent a message to the world, to the separatists and reached out to the people of Kashmir."
“Any life lost in Kashmir, whether of a youth or of security personnel, is a loss for us as a nation. People who are putting innocent young boys forward to disrupt peace in Kashmir, one day they will have to answer to these boys,” said the PM.
The unrest in the state triggered by the death of Hizbul Mujahideen Burhan Wani has claimed the lives of nearly 70 people and more than 5000 people have been injured.
Prime Minister's message to 'trouble makers' in the state comes a day after Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stepped up on Kashmir, nominating 22 parliamentarians as special envoys to be dispatched to world capitals to highlight the issue.
Apart from bringing Kashmir issue, PM Modi also talk about constructing toilets for better hygiene, Rio Olympic, Teachers Day, eco friendly Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Puja etc. About Eco friendly festivals, PM Modi said, “Why should we not go back to our tradition of using clay for making idols?”
