Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned home on Tuesday after his four-nation tour in Africa continent. Apart from Kenya, which was the last stoppage of his visit, he also covered Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania.
The PMO tweeted on Tuesday morning, after he came back from the tour which was aimed to enhance ties with the continent, “After a vital Africa tour which witnessed key talks, interactions & agreements, PM @narendramodi reaches Delhi (sic).
PM on Monday held talks with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta during which both the sides decided to deepen the cooperation in a wide range of areas as they signed seven pacts, including in the field of defence and avoidance of double taxation.
Earlier the Prime Minister visited Tanzania, South Africa and Mozambique as part of the five-day tour. India has offered USD 92 million Line of Credit to Tanzania for a key water supply project and signed five agreements with them.
