Reshuffle of Cabinet likely before next parliament session

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked ministers to present "self appraisal" report at a meeting scheduled for June 30 which heated the speculation of Cabinet reshuffle.

Government source said the ministers have been asked to make a presentation about their performance in their respective departments since the BJP government presented the second budget.
The meeting has come at a time when speculation about a possible cabinet reshuffle rise. The reshuffle is likely to take place before monsoon session of Parliament.
Prime focus is to woo the poll bound states Uttar Pradesh and Punjab which are scheduled to go for assembly polls next year.
PM has been reviewing the performance of ministers with focus on implementation of government schemes to ensure an impact on the ground before the next round of state polls. "There was a talk that the June 30 meeting may be an appraisal exercise that can lead to a cabinet reshuffle," said a source.
