Don’t take your irregular heartbeat lightly
Sometimes your heart just skips a beat and that is completely normal but if it has become normal for your heart to skip beats every time then it is a matter of concern because Irregular heartbeat also known as artial fibrillation may lead to severe health issues such as heart attacks, heart failure, chronic kidney disease and sudden cardiac attacks.

According to a study published in journal The BMJ it shows the associations between atrial fibrillation and cardiovascular disease, renal (kidney) disease and death.

These researchers analyzed the results of 104 studies involving over nine million participants and noted that Absolute risk increases included 3.8 events per 1,000 participant years for all cause mortality, 1.4 events per 1,000 participant years for ischemic heart disease, and 6.6 events per 1,000 participant years for chronic kidney disease.

Researchers further concluded that it not only led to two times risk of cardiovascular mortality but also led to a 2.3 times risk of stroke and a five time risk of incident congestive heart failure.
