Quality of Health Care sector to be improvised: Govt

  To improvise the better functioning of health care sector the TDP-led Government was taking a series of measures to streamline the medical and healthcare sector in the State. 

 

 According to the Government, Dr NTR Vaidya Seva is the flagship scheme of all, the aim of the Government is to achieve "Health for All" in order to facilitate the effective implementation of the scheme.

 

Medical care was neglected in Andhra Pradesh under the previous Congress Government but things have improved after the TDP-led allowance implicit power in 2014, K Ravindra, Excise and BC Welfare Minister, said. 

 

The previous Congress Government had uncared for this key sector, he said.

 

 He added that 250 medical services were brought under NTR Vaidya Seva, a health scheme of the Naidu Government. 

 

According to the reports, The Minister said the District Government Hospital here will be improved with addition of more beds. A new medical college and a cancer hospital will also be set up soon in Machilipatnam.
