In a heart-wrenching incident in West Bengal’s Darjeeling, two elephants electrocuted when they struck a high tension wire.

The incident took place when about 30 elephants entered the Kiranchandra tea garden main line under Siliguri subdivision, Bagdogra Forest Range Officer P.T. Bhutia told IANS.

This case of two elephants breaking an electric post and smacking the high tension wire also resulted in the power breakdown in the area.
