Toyota tops Carbon Clean 200 list
In first ever carbon Clean 200 list, Toyota, Tesla, Vestas, DONG Energy and Panasonic mark their places as some of the top companies that are claimed to be greenest companies, i.e., companies that use clean and green sources to undertake production.

The markings are done on the basis of only one criteria according to which, a company should possess market capitalization of at least $1 billion and should generate 10 percent of their revenues from clean sources.

In the list, as many as 70 companies get most of their revenues from clean energy.
Talking about the list, out of 200 companies, 66 entries are from China, 40 are from United States, 20 companies belong to Japan, 8 to Germany and 5 to Canada.

Interestingly, 7 companies in the list belong to India.

While Toyota tops the list, Siemens closely follows the company. Schneider Electric comes at 4th place, Panasonic marks 5th place. Vestas Wind marks 7th place and Philips Lighting comes at 8th position.

Apart from these, DONG Energy manages to win 11th position; Tesla Motors is at 17th position, Gamesa at 18, First Solar at 19th and Samsung at 23.
