‘Schools to put fees related information online’: CBSE
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all the affiliated schools to upload their information regarding fee structure online by October 31 in its memorandum sent to all its affiliated schools across the nation.

The action has been taken following the complaints of parents as to make the academic system transparent.

As per reports, some parents complained parents that a number of schools were charging excessive fees. The Board advocated that fees charged should be commensurate with the facilities provided by the institution.

So on the online portal of each school, the information will be helpful to parents and students to know about the facilities available in the schools.

Earlier, the board issued an advisory asking its affiliated schools not to charge exorbitant fees from students.

As per some officials, the information will be uploaded periodically on half-yearly basis.

The Board has also instructed the schools to stick to the laws and ensure proper functioning of the school management.
