Nearly 60,000 people would get jobs as West Bengal Board of Primary Education declared results of Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) for recruitment of primary teachers and of School Service Commission for teachers of secondary and higher secondary schools.

 
"Around 60,000 people will be recruited now," said Education Minister Partha Chatterjee.
 
About 23 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in October in 2015 for around 30,000 vacancies for primary teachers in the state.
 
Some candidates had challenged certain provisions, including allowing non-trained candidates for teaching.
