Now general pulblic will rank educational institutions

The educational institutions are set for the welfare of common public that is why common public should have right to rank the institutions.

Luckily, from this year onwards, public will have the liberty to participate in the educational institutions ranking, which is done only by the government.

All the colleegs and institutions will come under this and the government will provide a common overall rank to each college.

"The parameters have been chosen in such a manner that they remain equally important for all kinds of educational institutions", an official told media.

Government has taken such a decision to ensure greater transparency and check inaccurate data furnished by universities and colleges.

To do this, MHRD will be asking all the colleges and universities to pulblsih relevant data such as number of teachers and students , infrastructure etc.

Further, the stakeholders and general public will be asked to scrutinize data and submit their feedback to National Accreditation Bureau.
