Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has announced a mega Parents Teachers Meeting (PTM) that will be held on July 30 for nearly 1000 government schools. The meeting will serve as a bond between parents and teachers of government school. 

Delhi Government has decided to conduct this kind of PTM twice every year like a festival on the lines of private schools. The timings of the meeting are planned to be different for morning and evening shifts.
In this meeting conducted tomorrow, around 16 lakh parents are expected to participate. 
The main motive of the meeting is to strengthen the bond between parents and teachers, teachers and students and students and parents by discussing grievances and feedbacks.
Parents will also be made familiar with new schemes launched by the government and opportunities that are there for students.
As the minister said, it is going to be the first meeting of this kind in the history of Indian education.
