Google has launched a programme called ‘Android skilling and certification’ in a partnership with ‘National Skill Development Corporation’ and National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning’ to train around two million Android developers in India in the next three years.
The programme will be available in 31 Indian Universities including public and private universities.
Among the courses and modules under the skilling programme is an Android fundamentals course to be made available at public and private universities, in addition to NSDC institutes.
The course is expected to start from July 18.
This is the first programme that Google is launching in India, however, it runs developer training programmes with Udacity which is a a non-profit organisation for online courses.
The fees of the exams are about Rs 6,500.
The programme is basically designed for those people who are seeking jobs as entry level Android Developers.
