Kerala education minister promises quality education
Inaugurating the state-level school reopening ceremony held at the Government Model Higher Secondary School Pattom, Kerala Education Minister C Raveendranath said that the government will do it's best to protect, strengthen and develop general education system of the state.
 
"It is the responsibility of the state government to ensure proper infrastructure for schools and quality education for the students to fulfill the dreams and expectations of their parents. The aim of the government is to create a model education system," said Prof C Raveendranath.
 
For the complete development of a child, one needs to understand that every child is different and should be able to identify skills possessed by them, he further added.
 
The minister also released the 2016 edition of 'Mikavu', a handbook for higher secondary students, by handing over the first copy to director of general education K V Mohan Kumar.
 
Mayor V K Prasanth, who presided over the event, said the number of new admissions to the school indicates that government schools are well accepted by parents.
