CBSE releases answer keys to JEE Main-2016
All the candidates can now have a look to the answer key on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All the candidates can visit the official website to download the answer key. The results for the same will be declared on April 27.  
 
 
The Join Entrance Exam 2016 (JEE Main) was conducted on April 3 (offline) and April 9 and 10 (online) for shortlisting the candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical Institutions. The candidates who will clear the exam, will then be appearing for the JEE Advanced exam.
 
 
Steps to check the answer key:
*All the candidates can log on to the website, http://jeemain.nic.in.
*Click on ' View/ Challenge of answer key'
*Enter the application number and password
*The answer key will be displayed   
*Paper pattern: As it came
 
 
The test included two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2(B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning).
Paper 1 of the same (B.E/B.Tech) will be the test consisted of objective type questions based on the subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will be the exam comprised of mathematics section, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test.
 
 
The Directorof Aakash Educational Services, Akah Chaudhary declared,"Expected cut-off can be pegged around 108-112 marks range. The paper though was relatively easier than last year, some had some lengthy calculation questions in Maths and some real simple questions straight from NCERT, which made students make mistakes."
 
 
The engineering entrance exam is conducted to select candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions.
