Nothing new in Rail Budget: Cong

 The Congress critised the Railway Budget on Thursday and said that there was nothing new in it.

 

Speaking to the media, party leader and ex-railway minister Pawan Bansal said he did not find anything new in the budget except for bio vacuum toilets

 

Bansal also alleged that the NDA Government is repeating the old thing as done by the UPA regime.

 

He stated that the two locomotive factories announced in the budget by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu are old, as it was decided during his tenure.

 

Criticising the budget, Rashtiya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad said that the Railway sector, which was a lifeline for commuters at one point of time, as been derailed.

 

People of the country does not want bullet trains but good rail service, added Lalu, another former railway minister.
