In its effort to woo investors from within and outside the country through its Global Investor Summit 2017, which is to be held on February next year, Jharkhand held a roadshow in the national capital on Thursday.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, while speaking the occasion, said the state could play a decisive role in ‘Make in India’ campaign.

“There are opportunities in every sector in Jharkhand. We want investors to come to the State to explore these opportunities. I have come to invite investors to the Jharkhand Global Investor Summit to be held in February,” the CM said.

The state government earlier had 3 roadshows in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad and Delhi is the fourth place to attract investors to participate in its endeavor.

Even while there were not many leading investors for the event, the state government is hopeful that it will get maximum response from the national capital

“We have met many corporate giants here in Delhi and I got good response from them.”

When asked on key sectors that the State is looking for, Das told the reporters that the focus of the State Government is on IT, automobile and agriculture sectors.
