EPFO plans to cover all by 2030

Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) plans to cover all the workers in India under provident fund (PF), pension and life insurance by 2030. 

 
It has set itself this ambitious target in its vision document.
 
EPFO documents discusses objectives like  "universal social security coverage on mandatory basis by way of provident fund, pension and life insurance for all workers of the country".
 
Apart from this, vision also speaks about online services for all EPFO benefits with state-of-the-heart technology and best service delivery practices.
 
Central provident fund commissioner (CPFC) VP Joy had a meeting with EPF officers association and All India EPF Staff Federation to discuss Vision 2030. 
 
The retirement body  also hopes to implement policies for a benefit structure with e support level of social security.
 
According to Joy, EPFO is implementing the largest social security scheme and is providing to 3.5 crore subscribers.
