For Gujarat, field marshal rank Manekshaw is sportsman

Sam Manekshaw or Sam Bahadur is known for his role in the 1971 Bangladesh liberation war and as the first Army officer to be promoted to five-star field marshal rank. But the Gujarat government's web portal lauds Manekshaw as a sportsperson.

Badheka was a lawyer, who was born in 1885. Famous 13th century architects Vastupal and Tejpal, who built famous Jain temples during the Vaghela dynasty, are described as industrialists as well.
