Dr Nanda becomes President of MGMI
Mining Geological and Metallurgy Institute (MGMI), has got its new president as Dr Narendra Kumar Nanda who is the Director (Technical) of Navratna
Company NMDC Limited affiliated to Ministry of Steel, Government of India.

It was announced in the 110th General Meeting conducted by the company on Tuesday in Kolkata.

Dr Nanda made enormous contribution to MGMI when he was earlier the vice president of the institute.

Noticeably, Dr Nanda is the mind behind making Navratna Company NMDC Limited a multi commodity and multi location company of all times.

MGMI is the only company that is active in the field of eco friendly exploration as well as mining and research for more than 100 years. Interestingly, the company has associations with CEOs of several mines and minerals companies.

Apart from that, it engages more than 3000 private as well as government professionals, managers and technocrats of industries based on mining and minerals as it members, across Asia.
