Three IPS officers transferred by Bihar Govt

Two have been given totally new posts while one has been given additional charge

Three IPS officers transferred by Bihar Govt

Bihar Government has transferred three Indian Police Services (IPS) officers.

 

While IPS Deepak Barnwal has been appointed as new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Madhubani district, Vijay Kumar Verma has been appointed as SP (G) Special Branch. 

 

Barnwal was earlier serving as SP (Security) Special Branch, Patna with additional charge of Commandant of Special Security Group (SSG) and Bihar Military Police (BMP-1) before his new posting. 

 

Vijay Kumar on other hand holds additional charge of SP (Security) Special Branch, Patna and also that of Commandant, SSG and BMP-1.

 

The third IPS officer transferred is Upendra Prasad who has been made Assistant to IG (Inspection) in the minor reshuffle of IPS officers.
