Exemptions are there for the officers who have less than three years of service after the training is done

IAS officers to go under Mid Career Training Programme
DoPT or Department of Personnel and training is ready to organize a training programme for the IAS officers of 1983, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88 and 89 batches. The programme is called Mid Career Training Programme or MCTP that is mandatory for all the IAS officers of these batches.
 
This is going to be the 10th round of Phase V training and is scheduled from October 3 to 21 this year. The programme will be held at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
 
Exemptions are there for the officers who have less than three years of service after the training is done.  It means that all the officers who will be retiring before December 31st, 2019 shall be exempted from the training.  
 
Further, all phases of the MCTP are mandatory.
