Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal has taken voluntary retirement.
Sunita is an IRS officer and was working in Union Finance Ministry’s department of revenue.
She was seeking for this VRS (voluntary retirement scheme) from a long time.
So, the Finance Ministry on Tuesday issued an official letter to her approving her VRS.
She will get retired on July 15, as per the order of the ministry stated.
Also, the ministry has drawn her attention to Rule 10 of Central Civil Services (pension) rules, 1972, according to which, if she wishes to take commercial employment within one year from the date of her retirement, she shall seek government’s prior permission.
