IAS officer Ashok Khemka gets new posting

 IAS officer Ashok Khemka was appointed as principal secretary, Science and Technology. 

 
Haryana Government also transferred seven other IAS officers on Thursday. 
 
He was promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary in January by Haryana Government , when he was holding post of Principal Secretary and Director General, Archaeology and Museums. 
 
After 1991-batch officer had tweeted last week that it was “humiliating” for him to hold a “lower rank” post and was awaiting posting on promotion for the last three months, state Health Minister Anil Vij had assured that he would speak to the chief minister regarding his promotion.
 
The minister had tweeted two days back that he had spoken to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar regarding Khemka’s posting and a decision would be made in a day or two. 
 
Chief Minister holds the charge of the Science and Technology department. 
 
Seven other IAS officers were also transferred on same day. Dhanpat Singh was posted as additional chief secretary, Medical Education and Research. Anil Malik, has been transferred as principal secretary, Fisheries.
 
He has also been given the charge of chief administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. Apoorva Kumar Singh has been posted as principal secretary, Technical Education. 
 
Abhilaksh Likhi is new principal secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.  He will also hold the charge of Director General and Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs, Languages and Grievances and Hospitality.
 
Neerja, has been posted as secretary, Personnel, Training, Vigilance and Parliamentary Affairs and Director, Training (Ex-officio). 
 
A Sreenivas has been transferred as  managing director, Haryana Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON). He will also be director, Supplies and Disposals.
